With an average temperature of 24 degrees all year round, your holiday at Anfi can be enjoyed at any time of the year. The spring, autumn and winter are the most popular periodes.

Autumn and winter is a bit colder than the summer, however mostly very nice temperatures day and night,

A timeshare (sometimes called a vacation ownership or vacation club) is a property with a divided form of ownership or use rights. These properties are typically resort condominium units, in which multiple parties hold rights to use the property, and each owner of the same accommodation is allotted their period of time. Units may be sold as a partial ownership, lease, or "right to use", in which case the latter holds no claim to ownership of the property.

In Anfi you have "fixed weeks", which is a certain apartment in certain week. Also available is "floating weeks" which gives the owner the right to apply/reserve for a week in a certain time before the owner whiches to use the week.

There are different kind of floating week contracts where you can apply 18 or 12 months ahead, but be aware when you but a floating week privately as you cannot use the point system in Anfi Vacation Club.

The advantage of a fixed week is that you know 100% its your apartment at those dates.

Floating weeks is never guaranteed there is availability at the dates you have wished for, even though you have applied in good time.



Depends if any private owners has put out their timeshare-week for rental.

If you subscribe your wishes in the system you will get a notification if and when a holiday-week matches your wishes.

This site is an independent market place where private apartment owners in Anfi del Mar and Anfi Emerald (Tauro) can find potential renter or buyer for their timeshare week.

Owner:
As a time-share owner in Anfi, you can create an account for free and make adverts for your week for rent or for sale.
1) Create account
2) Add your apartment(s)
3) When apartment has status "active". Potential renters/buyers can find your apartment in the system / get notification. The renter/ buyer can contact you via the contact form in the system.
4) You will the receive an email from the system containing the renters/buyers information for further contact
5) When rented or sold please remember to change status or delete the apartment in the system.

Renter/Buyer:
1) You can use the search bar on the front page to seek and find apartments for rent or for sale.
2) You can also create a subscription making the system sending you notifications when your subscription has a matching apartment.
3) It does not require an account to see and find, but an account is required if you want a subscription.

1. bedroom apartment: 70-81 square meters including balcony.

Children qualify as an occupant/person from the age of 2 years and older.

So a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 7, 5, and 1 can stay in a 1 bedroom apartment.

However, a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children aged 7, 5, and 3 cannot stay in a 1 bedroom apartment.

Children qualify as an occupant/person from the age of 2 years and over. So as an example a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children of age 7,5 and 1 can stay in a 1 bedroom apartment.

However a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children of age 7,5 and 3 can not stay in a 1 bedroom.

No its different resorts with different location.

The rental and buying prices will surely vary depending on the size and location of the apartment in Anfi.

Low and high season will in most cases also affect the price.

Sometimes you might get lucky finding a very cheap holiday week. Other times you must pay the normal prices or even high season prices. It varies from owner to owner and week to week.

However comparing to local hotels in the area you will find the Anfi locations, the overall quality and overall very high standard, size of rooms and bathrooms, the huge balconies, views really is hard to find anywhere else in the area.

Pricewise if you compare with local hotels and tour operators you will soon find out that you get much more value in Anfi and in most cases also when renting or buying privately.

Another bonus is the number of persons that can sleep in the apartments compared to local hotels.

The owners of the timeshare weeks have in general paid considerable amount when buying the timeshare week and also pays considerable maintenance costs to the Anfi Group.

Please always be polite and mature when communicating - even though you dont agree on the price or terms.

To be able to rent an aparment from a private owner in Anfi, a guest certificate must be issued to at least one of the persons who is going to stay in the apartment. Depending how busy Anfi Customer Service is, it takes normally a few days.

The guest certificate is ONLY issued by Anfi to the rightfull owner. It is the owner of the apartment that must contact Anfi with your (renters) details for issuing the certificate in the renters name. Name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

You could make sure that the owner put your e-mail on CC (copy) when the owner applies for the guest certificate at Anfi Customer Service. This is the e-mail: customerservice@anfi.es.

When renting an apartment on a private to private basis - we STRONGLY recommend not to pay the rent until you have a verified guest certificate issued from Anfi However always be sure that the deal you are about to do is for real. We have also heard of some owners do want payment for the guest certificate prior you receiving th guest certificate. No deals are 100% the same, but dont do deals you dont feel comfortable with.

We also recommend not to book flight tickets until the guest certificate is verified by you at Anfi Customer Service

Therefore upon receiving your guest certificate from the owner- you should ALWAYS contact Anfi - +34 928 152 990 - to check that the guest certificate is authentic and activated in your name. Use the guest certificate number as reference.

Anfi Customer Service is NOT allowed to give out any information about owners. They can only help you verify the guest certificate.

We as administrators of the website do not have contact with the owner nor the renter/buyer.

We as administrators of this website are not responsible for the info, data, pictures and texts the owner has written or added on their advertisement on this site.

We strongly recommend to follow the recommended procedures upon renting a timeshare apartment week from a private person. Making sure the deal is legit.

It has happened before that renters showed up at Anfi to check in and the holiday was ruined because they had been exposed to fraud. Anfi is not responsible for those cases and cannot help if this should happen.

On the other hand after you have received the guest certificate and you dont pay for the rent, the owner can cancel the certificate.

Frauds and scammers will undoubtly also try to scam users on this platform. Impossible to avoid.

If you suspect a fraud/scam please notify us, by using the contact form, so we can deletes and ban the scammer.

What can you do to avoid being scammed - Renting?
A) Get as much info as possible from the person you rent from.

B) NEVER transfer any money to the person whos rents out until you have verified your guest certificate. You do so by calling Anfi Customer Service +34928152990 and referring to your guest certificate number you have received from the persons who rents out

Only Anfi Customer Service can verify if the certificate is valid or not. Anfi Customer Service cannot give any details of the owner.

Some owners requires a small deposit for securing the guest certficate. What does your stomach feeling say?

What can you do to avoid being scammed - Buying?
A) Here you are more safe as Anfi will get involved. However follow the procedures for selling/buying a timeshare week and NEVER transfer any money untill the deal is 100% legit.

Maybe Anfi Vacation Club has availability if you need an extra day or two.

The rentals are based on a week to week rental.

When renting out an apartment in Anfi it requires a guest certificate. If this is not issued the renter will not have access to the apartment.

The owner should provided Anfi with renters name, address, e-mail and phone number on at least one of the renters.

Anfi will charge a fee for the guest certificate. The price for this depends if the owner is a member of Anfi Vacation Club or not.

It is only the owner who can apply for the certificate.

When the guest certificate is registered in the system at Anfi, Anfi sends the certificate to the owner. The owner then sends it to the renter.

We strongly recommend the renter contact Anfi for having the guest certificate verified. There is a unique number on the certificate. That number is then informed to Anfi who can verify if the guest certificate is authentic.

Chlidren of the owner dont pay for the certificate.

Can a renter who has a received a guest certificate rent out the same apartment to someone else? A renter who cant use the rented week, should contact the owner, as the renter cannot rent the apartment to a new renter. First the original guest certificate must be cancelled and that is only the owner who can do that via Anfi.

So a renter cannot transfer the guest certificate to someone else.

This is between the person who rents out and apartment owner. Terms and conditions should be agreed beforehand.

If the person/owner who rents ou, do not want to refund if you cant come for the rented week.
A) Maybe the owner can try to find a new renter?
B) Maybe your travelinsurance will cover the loss?

Its only the owner that can rent the apartment out again as you as renter cannot apply for a new guest certificate.

The Anfi calender is a bit odd from the regular calandar and can be a bit confusing. Be aware upon renting or buying. This system has Anfi calender implemented when owners enter their apartment for rent or resale.

First of all buying a timeshare week second hand, also known as a timeshare resale, it is normally much cheaper than buying directly from Anfi. However when buying directly from a private person you will loose some benefits to use a as an new owner of a timeshare week in Anfi. Read about this here: www.anfi.com

B) We strongly recommed to use a timeshare-agency for the contract, paperwork and safe payment.

Before renting or buying such apartment week, make sure to ask the owner about the type of apartment and location/floor.

Current process for transferring membership/contract.

We advise to contact Anfi for confirmation of the sales process.

First step is letting Anfi Customer Service know that you want to sell/transfer your contract.

This by e-mail to: customerservice@anfi.es. Anfi is also able to guide you trough this process.

You can also use a registered resale company to do help you throght the process. This is recommeded as when it comes to the money transfer, both parties are safe.

1. Seller must have the membership certificate - fill in the reverse side of certificate and sign it. (All sellers).

2. Send the signed membership certifivate it to the buyer for them to fill in and sign off before they send it to back Anfi. (Registered mail is recommended so the letter can be tracked).

3. Await Anfi's documentation asking you to read and acknowledge and sign off using a notary to witness your signature. The notary will need to see a passport and evidence to confirm your address.

4. Send the form to the buyer asking them to do the same using a notary. Ask them to forward to Anfi.
Book the notary in good time as some places waitingtime occurs.

5. Anfi will send both seller and buyer a link to pay their administrationFees (€350 euro for seller and buyer).

6. Once Anfi confirm transaction is complete the buyer must ask Anfi for a membership certificate confirming the ownership,

7. Anfi seems sometimes to take their time and a deal could complete within 6 weeks but it has averaged 2-3 months. Sometimes longer. Also depends the speed and efficiency of the parties involved.

Points to consider:

Take photos of membershipcCertificate, both sides, and all transfer paperwork before sending on. Strongly advise always some form of registered post.

Anyone with the "new contracts" need to offer Anfi first choice at buying the week.

Use any unused/booked/banked weeks - before - starting the transfer process because Anfi will cancel all such once issuing the transfer acknowledgement paperwork.

Please note that all maintanence fees have to be paid up-to-date before Anfi will approve and complete the transfer/sale.

New memberships from private resales DO NOT include Anfi Vacation Club membership. The reason is that the contract/sale is private.

In the case of private transfer/resale, only the week itself and not any point value (including accumulated points) is transferred if the week is linked to Anfi Vacation Club's points system.

After the transfer, the week will no longer be associated with Anfi Vacation Club, as membership here is personal.

The new owner must make a reservation via Customer Service, which has fewer and less attractive weeks available.

New owner can possibly get the week in the Anfi Vacation Club again, but only by "upgrading" (ie buying even more) via Anfi Sales, at the prices they dictate.

Each owner pays a yearly maintenence fee per week theu own to Anfi for always keeping the high standards on the premises and apartments.

The maintenence fee amount depends on the size of the apartment.

If you rent an apartment that fee is included in the rent.

Maintenance costs are dealt with in budget meetings in the committees each year based on stipulated costs and relate to normal increases in costs.

If an owner doesnt pay the maintenence fee, the owner, the owner cannot use nor rent out the apartment. If 2 years maintenence fee not paid Anfi will take the apartment back from the owner.

The reason is to avoid scammers to use the system for sending messages - with bad intend - to other users in the system.

The system has plenty of pictures and floorplanings and standard info which should cover the info needed for the renter/buyer.

The system is under constant development and we are in a later version looking to make an option for choose from standard texts added to the system.

This problem is often at the receivers e-mail settings. Start by looking in your spam-filter. Maybe due to spam-settings. You should then have your e-mail account approving e-mails from this system. info@privaterentandresale.com

All bedroms have airconditioning. Some livingrooms only have fans in the ceiling.

Airconditioning is free of charge, but we recommend to shut it of when not in use.

The easiest and most convenient is booking a bus via Anfi.

As a renter or buyer of a resale week you are required to accept the house rules and regulations of Anfi.

In Anfi you will find very comfortable sunbeds. Those by the pool are free of charge. Sunbeds on the beach are subject for payment.

One of the many advantages in Anfi is for sure all apartment has a private big balcony/terrasse. All equipped with very nice sun loungers, dining table & chairs. Some penthouses even have a terrasse in the back of the apartment. Some apartments alse have a small garden area. Look at the floor plan to see the size of the balcony/terrasse.

Yes, by the reception and at the big Spar supermarket

Check in : Is from 16:00 o`clock. Sometimes the rooms are ready before. Upon arrival check inn, then its done and you normally get a time when room is ready. Luggage in the luggage room and borrow towels from reception.

Check out : Is at 10:00 o,clock on the departure day. You can borrow free extra towels in the reception and access to courtesy rooms. You are allowed to stay in the Anfi area untill you depart. Reception will give you an new key for that purpose. Check out the night before can be better for all.

If you are moving on to another apartment within Anfi, the luggageservice will move your belongings and the items from the refriguator.

Currency can be exchanged in the club receptions (Not the best rates).

Most places you can pay with Visa-card

Cleaning is included and apartment will be clean and ready upon your arrival.

Cleaning also during your stay.

You dont have to clean the apartment when checking out.

Shampoo, shower gel and soap. Some coffee, tea, milk, sugar, bottled water, washing up liquid, washing powder, dish washer tablets.

Each Anfi club has its own courtesy room with showers and changing facilities. Towels you get from reception.

Fully equiped with washing machine/ tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer, ceramic hob, steam iron & ironing board, clothes dryer, dinner service, toaster, filter coffee machine, kettle, dining table & chairs. Pan and pots. Glass, cups, plates etc for the persons allowed to sleepover.

Yes and its free for Anfi guests.

All apartments have a washing machine with dryer installed. Also eqipped with a drying rack.

All apartments has level access with lift. Some with glass to enjoy the views.

Luggage scales can be found in the rexeption in each club.

You can have the reception help you with your luggage. If your room is not ready or if you have a late flight you can store your luggage by the reception.

If moving from one apartment in Anfi to another in Anfi. Tell reception and the luggage service will move your belongings to the new apartment.

24 hours reception in all the 5 Anfi resorts.

In Anfi del Mar you have multible restaurents cafèes and bars to choose from.

In Anfi Emeral Club a local restaurent and a foodtruck is available.

Both resorts have many restaurents in walking distance or short trip by taxi.

Anfi Beach Club has free parking for guests staying there.

The other complex have parking spaces, but not free of charge. Contact Anfi for current price.

Anfi has own security team watching the entrances and premises of Anfi. Anfi is considered to be a very safe place to stay. 24 hours service.

Free safety box in the apartments

There is masseuse that operates in Anfi and you can also book by the spa located in the gym.

Hairdresser/Manicure/Pedicure also available in Anfi del Mar.

Anfi del Mar serves a very big SPAR supermarket. A supermarket is also available in Anfi Club Tauro.

Also small supermarket available in Gran Anfi and Anfi Beach Club.

Some cheaper supermarkets in Puerti Rico and Arguneguin.

Sheets, covers, towels, pool towels, bathrobes and slippers included. Changed during the week.

Suitable for persons with wheelchair to get around on the premises as with ramps and lifts.

There is free wifi in all the rooms and on the Anfi premises. Code will be given upon check-inn.

By Gran Anfi there is a mini golf course. Its not operational but its allowed to play there (You cannot rent golfclubs in Anfi, Either bring your own or borrow from some other guests).
